Unlike a standard page, a custom post type allows:

• List items (e.g. blog posts, cars, recipes, etc.) on the same page
• Display each element in a dedicated page. Each dedicated page is displayed according to the same structure (same location for title, image, etc.).
• Add/modify/delete elements easily by simply filling in boxes.
